This post is really applying to me.
While it was extremely busy over the last few months, it has now winded down for some breathing room. **Whew**
I stopped regularly exercising in lieu of hard work building our new church space.
I stopped practicing my guitar....no excuses.
I spent less time with the kiddos.
I want my kids to WANT to continue to spend time with me. I WANT to learn how to play the guitar...and you cannot do that without practice. I WANT to not gain weight over this holiday season and lose the last 11 pounds to be where I was when I got married.
So...instead of just sitting around and whining about it and not DOING anything....I am going to be the change that I want to see.
That means----
1. We will walk/bike/run/play for 30 minutes every weekday morning. (Good breaktime for school too!)
2. I WILL practice my guitar 30 minutes a day on weekdays....including learning what the notes actually are and scales.
3. Start a cooking/sewing/art class daily with THE GIRL and THE BOY.
What change do you want to see? BE that change starting today!
