Sweater Remade

So I forgot to take some before pics (way to go Wendy)

But a friend was getting rid of some clothes, sending them off to the wonderful land of Goodwill, and I took what I thought I could remake. 

This is the FIRST of several items that will be remade. 

I thought it looked a little plain, so i added a belt.

 I shortened the sleeves (they were 3/4 sleeves) and I took about an inch off of the length of the waist. 

I used the extra from the shortened waist for the ruffles along the middle. 

 

And then I said to the photographer (hubby) to take another pic and this is what he caught:

I know, right.  But the goofiness goes along with the fun clothes!
