A couple of firsts....

It's always great to look back at baby's first steps, first tooth, first haircut.....

So for my "baby" ( THE GIRL who is now 12-years old) she has added a few more "firsts" to her collection:

First time mowing the yard

Poor girl.  Look at those arms.  She couldn't even get the mower up the hill.  I can't imagine how she would do in the front yard with its slope. 

First time using the sewing machine and making/completing her first project (Pillows)

Threading the needle was fun to watch.  

(I know my sewing machine is ancient.  It was my great-grandmothers.  It works and that is all that matters.)

It's so great to see my baby growing up!
